What did not I like ...? When I got the mine in the mail, one of the meter lights was not working. I called and they express new art posted to me for free, and explained how to change myself (they said I could return or get it fixed, but doing it myself was the fastest way and). I was shopping for a tube preamp for a while on a budget, and it was by far the best I could find for the price. The accuracy and quality of the sound is pretty good for how much time I spent on it.

I used a really nice avalon preamp in a studio a few years ago. It was amazing, the sound is fantastic. Other than that, I have read reviews to understand which preamp to buy. I am happy to say that the mpa art is a pretty solid machine and I was not disappointed at all.
