Art Nouveau Turn-of-Century American Vintage Clock Camerden Forster New York

  

A rare marble clock made by the house Camerden & Forster in New York. The clock is in "French style" marble, adorned with hand-painted and gilded Japonism decorations.

The mechanism may need to be revised. The dial glass is in perfect condition.

There is a minor break in the marble, without gravity, on the upper edge at the front and on the base at the back. Dimensions: height 33 cm, width 19.5 cm, depth 13 cm. Hand delivery possible in Paris. A rare marble "French clock" by Camerden & Forster, New York circa 1890.

Decorated in "Japonisme" Art nouveau style with hand-painted gilded birds and flowers. The dial glass in perfect condition. Minor marble break at the front (on the upper Castle-like line) and also on the basis at the back. Size: 33 cm tall, width 19.5 cm, depth 13 cm.
