Vintage ink art nouveau period bronze

  
This vintage early 20th century German Art Nouveau desk double inkwell is masterfully designed in shimmering bronze. The apex of the oval-shaped inkwell is decorated with a detailed sculpted head of a resting water nymph with long flowing hair. The bronze is in very good condition but, sadly, the glass inserts are missing.

The back of this inkwell is stamped "Geschutzt" "Real Bronze" "Depose". It measures 1 1/4" tall X 11 1/4" wide X 8 1/2 deep.
