Wall Tapestry Hervé LELONG heliotrope numbered. This is a beautiful Vintage European Tapestry, artist signed. This magnificent Flat woven rug has great character, artistic Art Nouveau design with bold florals, and is in superb condition.

It's a fabulous decorative piece! Under the direction of "Jean Laurent".

Based on the "Heliotrope" design. Made of Wool with Princess Stitch.

Numbered Series N° 302 Dedicated by Herve Lelong. Length of 2 meters Height of 94 cm. Hervé Lelong, a painter-cartoonist was born in Chartres in 1937. A student of Wogensky, he worked in Aubusson where he had many of his creations woven.

Most of his designs are limited to a few copies. The work, done on a Jacquart loom with Princess Stitch, is authenticated by the art publisher, Jean Laurent in 1974.
